The substrate must be permanently clean, dry, and free of old adhesive residues, dust, grease and other contaminants. Loose or damaged surfaces must be repaired before the application of the instant grab masonry adhesive . Painted surfaces must be well cured and free of loose paint. To obtain maximum instant grab adhesion, surfaces should be free from irregularities and cracks, to provide adequate contact. However, a preliminary adhesion test is recommended on every surface.

After substrate preparation, apply in strips on the bonding surface at intervals of a few centimeters. Place immediately, the surfaces together in the required position and press firmly. An incorrectly positioned element can be easily unfastened and repositioned in the first few minutes after stone veneer adhesive application. (Apply pressure again.) Optimum bonding will be obtained after complete curing, i.e. after 24 to 48 hours at +23°C for a thickness between 2 to 3 mm. Uncured instant grab adhesive may be easily removed with alcohol. Cured sealant must be removed mechanically.
